This page is About a pilgrim record of Sultanpur Lodhi’s sacred heritage linked with Jagat Guru Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The site does not invent. It keeps soft wording for tradition. It is independent editorial seva for pilgrims and learners.
The record is bilingual, Punjabi and English. It points to eight historic shrines, to town heritage, to travel paths, and to soft confidence tags. It does not claim to be the official website of the SGPC, of any Trust, of the district administration, or of a government tourism board.

A guide can name a shrine, a road, and a caution without becoming an office. That is the work here. Eight historic shrines are the public sacred set. No ninth name is added. Honorifics stay in place. Janamsakhi memory stays in a soft tone.
Leads preferred on this site are SGPC material, the encyclopaedia, Mahan Kosh tradition, and the district portal. A line without one of those leads is not promoted into a hard fact. Corrections are welcome in a spirit of seva. The method sits on the sources page.
It is not the official SGPC site or a committee office. It is not the official Bebe Nanaki Trust office. It is not a government tourism site and not the district portal, even when it links there. It is not a booking desk, a donation agent, or a lodging agent.
It is not an authorised publisher of hukamnamas or of live darshan schedules. If you need a hukamnama or a same-day hour, ask at the shrine or through the body that actually keeps that notice. This page will not imitate that voice.
First, only eight historic shrines, and no ninth name. Second, honorifics and Janamsakhi memory in a soft tone. Third, prefer SGPC, encyclopaedia, Mahan Kosh, and district portal leads. Fourth, travel times are always to be reconfirmed, and a train number is not gospel.
Fifth, corrections are welcome as seva, by the method on the sources page. The About page repeats the five so a later edit does not quietly drop one. A lock is a restraint, not a slogan.
The travel guide is where station code SQR, road NH 703A, and airport ATQ are set out. This page names them only so a reader knows which guide to open. It does not copy a timetable, and it does not bless a remembered train number.
Reconfirm on the day. A code can be right while a departure still changes. The About record would rather send you to a live railway or airline check than look precise and be wrong.
Town heritage has its own page: a chronology of the place, not a new claim invented here. Pilgrim questions have their own page. The eight shrines have a list page and then one page each. This record introduces those doors. It does not swallow them.
Confidence tags, where a point is confirmed, traditional, or uncertain, are gathered on the sources page. Read the tag before you repeat a date. The About note is the reason those tags exist: so soft memory is not dressed as a survey.
The town is Sultanpur Lodhi, in Kapurthala, in Punjab, in India. That is the place this record serves. The work is offered in a spirit of seva. It is not a claim of ownership over the shrines, the stream, or the sangat.
If a sentence on this site ever sounds like an order from a committee, treat it as a mistake and check the sources page. The About standard is information with restraint, not authority borrowed from a body this site is not.
Start with what the page calls tradition, and leave that sentence soft. Then read what it calls a lead from the encyclopaedia or the district portal, and keep the lead attached to its source. Do not merge the two into one hard date.
Live darshan schedules and hukamnamas are not published from this desk. The About rule is to ask the body that actually keeps the notice, rather than to treat this record as that office.
Citations and tags are on the sources page. Pilgrim questions are on the questions page. SQR, NH 703A, and ATQ are on the travel guide. The eight shrines are on the shrine list. Town chronology is on the heritage page.
When this record points outward, it prefers the Encyclopaedia of Sikhism and the Kapurthala district portal, beside Mahan Kosh tradition and SGPC leads. Linking a portal is not the same as being that portal. Keep this About page beside the sources page when you quote the site.
This about page is a town record.
